Little Orphan Fashion. That's me. Not allowed to spend a dime on clothes these days on account of being depressingly broke. But a girl can dream, right?
Maybe he reads
Maybe she sews
Maybe she's made me a closet of clothes

But, well, I'm pretty sure that I was not adopted. And there is likely no Daddy Warbucks in my future.
I do, however, have a pretty good lead on a job for which I will hopefully be interviewing this week (met with the recruiter yesterday!). Soooo, if all goes well, new job = new work wardrobe. Obviously. Things are looking up.
In the meantime, in an effort to quash winter blues and get away from all of the grey in my life, I did a little online "shopping".
I noticed, the other day, that I seem to be subconsciously stocking my closet with bold stripes and dots. I guess I hadn't meant to, but there's quite the theme happening. Lucky for me, they're EVERYWHERE for spring. Just received my J Crew catalog (stop sending them! it's snail mail torture!) and I am coveting many lovely things. While browsing, I also seemed quite taken with anything sunny - bright oranges and creamy yellows - I guess I'm rebelling against winter. I love fluffy-snowfall winters, but I dislike slushy-grey-dirty-snow winters and Toronto seems to get the latter far more often.
My would-be (should-be) Spring wardrobe, inspired by dots and stripes and sun!
