Cut it out (off) already.

Yes, I am talking about hair again. Again! But not mine, really.
It seems that during all of my hemming and hawing, two lovely ladies with similar hair woes turned talk into action. I am put to shame, as I am still fussing with the hair that sticks to my lip gloss while I bike, gets in my mouth while I sleep, and manages to magically work itself into snaggles within 5 minutes of turning off the flat iron. I could still opt for long locks again (thus allowing for ponytails and up-dos), but is that just too safe?
In the past month, my lovely friend Sheila cropped her gorgeous hair into an even more gorgeous aysemetrical half-shaved/long-bangs do. Sigh... it's dreamy and I covet it, but I doubt I could pull it off. I lack her fantastic bone structure.
[ before and after! um, S - hope you don't mind that I swiped your pics! ]
Another hair success story - the adorable Amy Cole of Rural Alberta Advantage fame enlisted my help with some post-hair-show woes of her own. I passed her along to my trusted stylist (ooh, I have a stylist!), Lynzee at Civello Queen. She also came out a little lighter on top, and is loving the freedom of a pixie. No more straighteners for her! Ah, to ditch another appliance in my life would be divine.

But alas, i am still all talk, no action. So, I'll shut up. Now.

  1. You're not alone. I'm having hair issues. I just can't decide what I want done, I have ideas but don't know if it will suit.
